She is survived by: her husband Charles Townsend; her children, Ayanna Washington, Emanuel Washington (Joy) and Tanza Townsend; her grandchildren, Chantia Gordon, Shantenay Brown, Caleb Collins, Ezekiel Washington, Joshua Collins, Elijah Washington and Emanuella Washington; her great grandchild Josiah Holmes; her siblings, Bernice Jackson (Anthony), Terry Washington (Tammie), Shirley Washington and Billy Shelton; and her aunt Rhoda Freeman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
