He was predeceased by: his son Mark Ostaszewski; his parents, Stanley Ostaszewski and Mary Ostaszewski; and his siblings, Frances Wolfe, Theodore Ostaszewski, Casey Ostaszewski, Henry King, Arthur King and James King.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, David Ostaszewski (Donna) and Diane Ostaszewski; and his grandchildren, Sarah Ostaszewski, Melissa Ostaszewski and Dustin Ostaszewski (Gill Semplinski). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
