With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Denise Susan Ozelie (Highland, Indiana), born in East Chicago, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 56. She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth S. Ozelie; her brother Michael Ozelie; her grandparents, Stanley, Marie Ozelie, John and Anna Canady; and her cousin Pam Easley (Canady).
She is survived by: her mother Suzanne Ozelie (Canady); her brothers, Ken, Tim and Mark Ozelie (Laura); her nephew Bryce Ozelie; her niece Brianna Ozelie; her uncle John Canady; and her aunts, Nancy Jovanovich, Deb Keeley, Marsha Canady and Diana Radtke. She is also survived by numerous cousins and dear friends.
A reception was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322).
