She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Huff and Gradie Huff. She is survived by: her boyfriend Dennis Yarbrough; her children, Oscar Simpson (Renée) of Streator, IL, Ellen Simpson, Tammy DeVries (James) of Merrillville, IN and Michael Thomas of Hammond, IN; and her siblings, Lula Mae, Shelby Glynn, Cecil Huff, Tanya Daugherty and Kaye Daugherty. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was a very strong lady who fought cancer at 26 years old, and fought COVID 3 years ago (dying three times).
