He is survived by: his wife Geneva Richards; his children, Dina Douglas of Portage, IN, Marcus Douglas (Cristy) of Dallas, GA, Jamila Paige (Ivan) of Atlanta, GA and Taifa Douglas of Jacksonville, FL.; his grandchildren, Darius, Marcus, Jr., Taijae, DeArJnae, Taifa, Jr., Prince, Daija and Kailee; his great grandchildren, Ezekial and Jabari; and his siblings, Bessie Myles of Rockford, IL, Gloria Elrod of Chicago, IL, Elaine McKinney of Chicago, IL, Donald Richards (Alice) of Chicago, IL, Lloyd Richards of Chicago, IL, Evangelist Sherry Johnson (Minister Tony) of Bolingbrook, IL, Cynthia Richards of Chicago, IL and Vanessa Risper (Melvin) of Chicago, IL.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kuiper Funeral Home (9039 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
