She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilario Montanez and Esperanza Montanez; her brothers, Juan Montanez, Michael Montanez, George Montanez and Ricardo Montanez Vincent Montanez; and her niece Ivette Montanez.
She is survived by: her daughter Marie Morales-Reese (Jessie Reese Jr.); her grandson Jessie Reese III; her foster children, Ignacio Cotto (Nacho), Priscilla Cotto and Vanessa Cotto; and her siblings, Maria Montanez (Betty), Anna Rivera, Myrna Montanez and Hector Montanez. She is also survived by numerous other brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
