She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lyon and Ruth Lyon; her parents-in-law, Gordon and Connie MacKay; and her brother John Lyon.
She is survived by: her husband Mac MacKay; her children, Ian (Bonnie MacKay), Rob MacKay of London, Mike (Michelle MacKay) and Jamie (Karen MacKay); her sisters, Marilyn (Rick Dinham) and Bev (Rick Bula); and her sister-in-law Cathy Lyon (Mark Fusco). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McBurney Funeral Home (35 Patrick St W, Wingham, ON N0G2W0). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Royal Canadina Legion, Br. 180 (183 Victoria St W, Wingham, ON N0G 2W0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or Wingham Legion Br. 180 would be appreciated by the family.
