It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmen Garcia (Highland, Indiana), born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Santos; and his siblings, Eduardo, Arturo, Carlos and Elva.
He is survived by: his father Juan Garcia; his siblings, Juan Jr. (Beatriz), Ismael (Irma), Jose Luis, Rosario Chandler, Alberto (Dina) and Ricardo Garcia; his uncle Alfonso Gomez; and his aunt Julia Zepeda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Ann Catholic Church (6025 W 25th Ave, Gary, IN 46406).
