She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Evette Joshua of East Chicago, IN, Donna Joshua of East Chicago, IN, Tyra M. Taylor of East Chicago, IN and Joyce Counts of Crown Point, IN; her siblings, Barbara Reed of Glendale, AZ, Scharlma A., Fletcher Carlyle of Vallejo, CA and John V. Carlyle of Merrillville, IN; her siblings-in-law, Hannah Taylor, Ted Vyhnanek and David Comer; and her godchildren, Lauria Crews, Stephanie Crews, Brian Pryor and April Pryor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (3902-06 Alexander Ave, East Chicago, IN 46312).
