She is survived by: her sisters, Kathy Kalin (Chuck) of Delafield, WI and Susan Martin (Richard) of Griffith, IN; and her nieces and nephews, Chris Kalin, Joe Martin of Griffith, Heather Macar and Tammy Martin (Ryan) of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by several cousins, and her many furry children.

“Always a smile on her face. Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. She was my Vegas roommate when we were younger and more mobile. Had some great times and many stories, but as they say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. I will keep my memories of April close to my heart. Can't say I knew anyone that was a greater animal lover then April.”
