He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara J. Tomes and Charles John Tomes; and his brother Tim Tomes. He is survived by: his brother Brad Tomes; his sister-in-law Kathleen Tomes of Henryville, IN.; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Tomes, Connor Tomes, Steve Acree and Lashea Acree. He is also survived by three great nieces and nephews and four great-great nieces and nephews.
