It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Elrod (Henryville, Indiana), born in Salem, Indiana, who passed away on February 5, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Elrod and Nora Cartwright Elrod; his wife Virginia Volk Elrod; his children, Daryl Elrod and Melissa Elrod; and his sister Martha Jean Trueblood.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Deuser Elrod; his stepchildren, Doug Johnson (Judy) of Henryville, Kirk Johnson Of Floyds (Teri), Gayle Combs of Ramsey and Rhea Combs of Georgetown; and his brothers, Joe Elrod (JoAnne) of Salem and Jerry Elrod (Hazel) of Sellersburg.
