He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Daniel Basham and Nina Jewel Whelan (Adkisson); his wife Mary Marie Basham (Smith); his daughters, Mary Louise Speaks, Robin Anderson and Sharon Chambers; his grandson Scott Allen; and his siblings, Kenneth Wilcox, Melvin "Shelby" Wilcox, Danny Basham and Jewell Rodgers (Mary Robinson).
He is survived by: his children, William Basham (Janet) of Lanesville, IN, Joseph Basham (Beverly) of Sellersburg, IN, Leonard Basham (Delisa) of Sellersburg, IN, James Basham of Charlestown, IN, Linda Warmouth of Henryville, IN and Charlotte Hall of Borden, IN; and his siblings, Phyllis Richards of Jeffersonville, IN, Connie Basham of Louisville, KY, William Wilcox of Louisville, KY and Johnny Whelan. He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren; 67 Great-Grandchildren; and 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
