He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Yochum and Bertha Yochum (Speth); and his siblings, Paul Yochum, John Yochum, George C. Yochum, Alois Yochum, Robert Yochum, James Yochum and Helen Ann Bouvy.
He is survived by: his spouse Barbara H. Yochum (Houghton); his children, Lawrence Yochum Jr (Carol) of Colorado Springs, Laura Couch (Gino) of Charlestown, IN, Hugh H. (Deborah), S. C., Julie Anne Gardiner (Walter) of Hollywood, MD and Sarah Sue Mayhall of Vincennes, IN; his siblings, Veronica West and Raymond Yochum (Shirley) of Vincennes, IN; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jeanette Yochum and Carol Yochum. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 ½ great grandchildren.
