He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Powers and Doris Zollman Powers; his siblings, Kenneth Powers, Robert Powers, Virgil Powers, Edith Vest and Dorothy Swisher; and his grandson Zachary Deich.
He is survived by: his wife Esther June Clements; his children, Cindy Powers, Debbie Glass (Greg) and Ernie Jr. (Michelle); his aunt Sylvia Schlechty; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Cox (Thomas), Brandon Smith (Toni) and Emilie Powers. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
