He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Brooks and Connie Brooks; his sons, Jack and Larry Brooks; and his brother Arlan Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Brooks (Snelling) of Henryville, IN; his son Jason Brooks (Brandie) of Henryville, IN; and his grandchildren, Skyler Brooks, Jessica McIntosh (David), Mikayla Brooks, Brahlie Brooks, Mason Brooks and Nolan McIntosh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
