She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Meeks and Pauline Colvin (Keyes); her husband Bobby Sands; her sons, Richard "Butch" Snider and Neil Wade Snider; her brother Russel Meeks; and the father of her children Richard Snider.
She is survived by: her children, Angela McKinstry (Lee) of Clarksville, IN, Lisa Lindsey (Mike) of Lexington, IN and Scott Sands of Henryville, IN; her grandchildren, Ariel and Alex Snider; and her brother J. T. Meeks (Susan) of Borden, IN.. She is also survived by grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
