She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl E. Coombs Sr. and Rebecca June Coombs (Lyles); her son John Edward Rucker; and her brother Earl Edward Coombs Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Anthony A. "Tony" Rucker of Henryville, IN; her children, Tia M. Rucker of Fort Payne, AL and Dr. Alan Rucker of Morehead, KY; her grandsons, Jacob and Joshua Laws; and her great grandchild Sawyer Laws.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory (209 S Ferguson St, Henryville, IN 47126). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery (2320 Henryville Bluelick Rd, Henryville, IN 47126).
