He was predeceased by: his parents, William Patrick and Cecilia Agnes Purdy (Keifer); his spouse Letta Mae White; his daughter Trella Denise Purdy; his siblings, Robert Purdy and Martha Grubb; and his daughter-in-law Sharon Purdy.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Diane Davis of Heltonville, Terry Don Purdy of Heltonville and Tony Dale Purdy (Anita) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Julie Lindsey, Michael Davis, Jennifer Turpin (Cody), Matthew Davis, Troy Purdy (Shannon), Brent Purdy and Ryan Purdy; his great grandchildren, Eden, Oliver Purdy, Brenston, Huxley Turpin and Paisley Knott; and his sister Vivian McKee of Logansport.
