He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Barrett and Bertha Barrett (Stevens); his former wife Margorie Evelyn Whitted; and his daughter Shawna Lee Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Judy" Barrett (Turner); his stepchildren, Kenny Whitehead (Rita), Rick Whitehead (Kathy) and Monagale Mellinger (Rick); and his grandchildren, Carrie Young, Katie Lewis, Kirstie Baker, Matthew Whitehead, Sarah Burgess, Ashley Lucas and Evan Mellinger.
