(Sipes) Owens of Heltonville, Indiana, born in Lynnville, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Hearth and Grace Hearth (Allen); her former husband James R. Sipes; her daughter Amy Cowden; her grandson Kagan Axsom; and her siblings, Kay Stogdill, Donna Hearth, Lebert Hearth, Ralph Hearth and Kenny Hearth.
She is survived by: her husband Homer "Dan" Owens of Anderson; her children, Andy J. Sipes (Kelly) of Heltonville and Christy L. Axsom of Bedford; her grandchildren, Jamie Hendrickson (Michael), Jesse Sipes, Nicole Johnson (Kyle), Josh Sollman and James David Axsom (Tiffany); her siblings, Bonnie Fountain (Mike) of Norman and Ronnie Hearth (Kathy) of Bedford; and her son-in-law J. D. Cowden. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to I.U. Health Hospice House.
