He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Elkins and Pauline E. Elkins (Lieberenz); his sisters, Janice Kessler and Janet Kulpinski; and his brother-in-law Frank Kessler.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma M. Miller; his children, Christina Seiler (Jerry) of Fayette, OH and Mark Elkins (Shelia) of Ashley, IN; his siblings, Emma M. Wells (Robert) of Corunna, IN and Dan Elkins (Diana) of Waterloo, IN; and his brother-in-law Raymond Kulpinski of Bronson, MI.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
