He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Ritchie and Rosa Ritchie (Napier); his siblings, Cecil Ritchie, James Ritchie, Robert "Bobby" Ritchie and Ada Pearl McQuinn; and his half-sister Maggie Slone.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Ritchie of Helmer; his children, Sharon Hunter of South Bend, Dwayne Ritchie of LaGrange and Chris Spaw of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Andrea Ritchie of Avilla, Elizabeth Burkhead of Albion, Monica Spaw of Fort Wayne, Heather Spaw of Fort Wayne and Clayton Spaw of Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Burkhead of Albion and Christian Ritchie of Avilla; and his siblings, Drucilla Gervais of Chicago, Lillie Gutt of Jackson, Kentucky., Polly Deaton of Frankfort, Kentucky., Kelly Williamson of Howe, Andy Ritchie of LaOtto and Leburn Ritchie of Jackson, Kentucky.. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
