He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marrs and Ruby Marrs; and his siblings, June Eye and James "Jimmy" Marrs. He is survived by: his wife Linda Marrs; his sons, William David "Davy" Marrs Jr. and Dan Ray Marrs (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Sydney Rae Marrs, Paige Marie Marrs and Reece Casbon Marrs; and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Marrs (Dana), Deborah "Debbie" Brooks and Dorothy "Dotty" Winebarger (Delmer).
