He was predeceased by: his parents, William and JoAnn; his sister Judy Hogge; and his nephew Daryl. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Jason Arndt (Jackie), Colin, Cara, Jay, Kelly Hayden (Jeremy), Drew, Erin and Indy; his siblings, Dale Arndt, Gail Berquist (Art) and Aryln Turner (Dean); his mother-in-law Lee Chance; his siblings-in-law, Kevin Chance, Debbie Bernardy (late Veryl), Becky Becerra (Dan) and Kelley DePirro (Roger); and his aunts, Geane Anderson and Nancy Mroz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
