With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Grimes of Hebron, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wanda Grimes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Burleigh Grimes; her daughter Marcy Jonel Grimes; her parents, Henry Buising and Elma Buising; and her sisters, Betty Taylor and Delores Grimes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Wygant (Clif) and Penny Poxon (John); her grandchildren, Jonathon Wygant (Deborah), Jennifer Head (Bryan) and Emma Delva (Sean); her great grandchildren, Sophia Wygant, Maddelyn Head and Stella Delva; and her sister Diane Ketel (Ken). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
