It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Claussen of Hebron, Indiana, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Ann Claussen to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Kasten and Gladys Kasten (Deardorff); and her siblings, Marilyn, Gladys (Sug) and Gary Jr. (Junior).
She is survived by: her children, David Claussen (Brenda) and Donna K Shaw (Leonard); her grandson Nathan Claussen; and her brother Damon "Uncle Buddy" Kasten of Hebron.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bartholomew Funeral Home (102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
