She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Kunnemann and Marjorie Kunnemann; her son Richard Huseman; and her brothers, Joseph Covey and Gary Covey.
She is survived by: her children, Duane Huseman and Melissa Banach (Michael); her grandchildren, Bryan Huseman, Aiden Banach, Kaitlyn Banach and Ashley Post; and her siblings, Frank Kunnemann, Marjorie McGlynchey (Michael), Doug Covey and Laura Lonchar. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (234 W Division Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46385).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Shirley's name to your local animal shelter.
