He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret "Marge" Simko; his parents, Andrew Simko and Eva Simko (Servay); his siblings, Mary Onder (Pete), Ann Hornak (Emery), Andrew Simko (Clara), Michael Simko (Kate), Helen Naumoff-Irvine (Boris), Robert Simko (Jeanne), Richard Simko and James Simko (Beverly); and his son-in-law Ray Saksa.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Moreth (Bob), John Simko (Sue), Ron Simko (Deb), Diane Stefani (Dale) and Marge Wagner (Duane); his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Simko, Ann Buczek and George Kelchak; and his wife Margaret Kelchak. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
