It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Novina of Hebron, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walter and Adeline Novina; and his brother-in-law Chuck Whelan. He is survived by: his wife Karen Novina (Whelan); his children, Amanda Deardorff (Ryan) and Jason Novina (Erika); his grandchildren, Cole, Samuel, Walker Deardorff and Lillian Novina; his sister Maryann Bencze (Stephen); and his sister-in-law Ruth Whelan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations in John's memory can be made to Kouts High School Boys Baseball and Volleyball programs or Homann Karate Dō Crown Point.
