He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. McClevery and Frances McClevery Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Dyana McCleverty; his sons, John "Jay" J. McCleverty IV (Tracie) and Christopher J. McCleverty (Jaime); his grandchildren, Connor, Colin, Liam, Quinn McCleverty and John J. "J. J."; and his sister Alice McCleverty.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Ronald McDonald House.
