He was predeceased by: his parents, William Duncan and Catherine Duncan (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Duncan; his children, John E. Duncan Jr. (Tammie), Brian Duncan (Joyce) and Amy Alessandrini (Tony); his grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Arica, Alex and Dakota; and his siblings, Robert Duncan, Patty Sue Angermeyer, Mary Linda Schaffer and Betty Jean Rowland. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church Food Bank, 165 Grace St., Wheatfield, IN 46392.
