He was predeceased by: his wife Dora; his parents, Herbert and Mildred; and his siblings, Jon Simpson and Donna.
He is survived by: his daughter Gayle Ann Simpson-Kolwyck (James); his siblings, Janrose Szostek (Terry) and Aaron Simpson (Sherry); his niece Dawn Blaney (Ron); his nephews, Matthew Simpson, Michael Simpson and Jacob Blaney; and his close friends, Jean Kirk and Peter Kirk.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to a No-Kill Humane Society.
