She was predeceased by: her husband Martin; and her brother Leo Richter. She is survived by: her children, Barb Timpe (Richard) of Wheatfield, Marty Luebcke of Hebron, Linda Luebcke (Larry Nichols) of Crown Point and Mark Luebcke of Denver, CO; and her grandson Shawn Timpe (Joy).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Amanda's name to VNA Hospice of Valparaiso.
