He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Frank Hittle and Margaret Blankenship Hittle; his children, Barbara Conroy (Paul), Michelle Parker, Alan Hittle Jr., Heidi Lovelace (Chris) and William Hittle (Frankie); his brother Larry; his wife Judith Stoelting Hittle; and his stepchildren, Anna Dailey (John), Gretchen Wade (Matt), John Stoelting and Dieter Stoelting (Michelle).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Alan's name to VNA Hospice Center.
