With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Violet Ashman of Hayden, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Swindall and Rosabell Swindall (Jesse); her sons, Charles David Howard and Kenneth Ray Howard; her siblings, Van, Bobby, Eddie, Charles, Thurman Swindall, Lilian, Katherine, Rose, Laura and Carolyn; her great grandchild Avery Ray; and also Larry Ashman.
She is survived by: her husband Elvin Howard Jr.; her children, James Howard (Tammy) of Jennings County, IN, Elvin Howard (Melinda) of Indianapolis and Jeniece Miller (Marvin) of Rush County; and her sister Dee Sullivan of Jennings County, IN. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 32 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
