It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura L. Richter of Haubstadt, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald O. "Curly" Meny and Shirley Meny (Buehner); her brother Wayne Meny; her nephew Ronald Zeller; and her brother-in-law Loren Zeller.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Richter; her daughters, Katie Vancel (Joel) and Jessica Schneider; her grandchildren, Grayson Vancel, Elliott, Jackson Schneider and Emersyn Vancel; her siblings, Cindy Zeller, Anita Schmitt (Jim), Michael Meny (Barb), Jeff Meny (Tammy), Daniel Meny (Karen), Eric Meny (Johnna) and Bob Meny (Rebecca); and her sister-in-law Margie Meny.
