She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Douglas and Lois Douglas (Edmondson); and her husband Robert Eugene Schmitt. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Blankenberger (Danny) of Haubstadt, IN, Lori Halbig (Greg) of Haubstadt, IN, Leigh Ann Schmitt of Haubstadt, IN and Dana Schmitt of Fort Branch, IN; her brother Stanley Douglas (Marcia) of Owensville, IN; her grandchildren, Jeremy Blankenberger (Brynn), Jonathan Blankenberger (Paige), Benjamin Halbig (Katie), Andy Halbig (Kelsey) and Amanda Conrey (Casey); and her great grandchildren, Noah Bodenstein, Penelope, Boston Blankenberger, Harper, Emersyn Blankenberger, Rhett, Wyatt Halbig, Sadie, Lane Halbig, Shane, Deanna and Cameron Conrey.
