She was predeceased by: her husband Donald L. May; her parents, Leo Knapp and Inah Knapp (Trimble); and her siblings, John Knapp, Rosalind McIntyre and Mary Jarrett.
She is survived by: her children, Gary May, Mary May of Haubstadt, Steve May, Linda May of Zionsville, Linda Atchison, Stan Atchison of Owensville, Jim May and David Lawrence of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Jared Morrison, Kendra Barrett, Alex Barrett, Adam May, Alex May, Laura May, Elaine May, Jason Atchison, Skye Atchison and Lauren Atchison; her great grandchildren, Brodie, Chase, Reid, Wylei, Waylen and Whitlynn; and her sister Julia Zuber.
Donations may be made to the church in her name to support the Labor of Love quilter's group.
