He is survived by: his wife Barbara Markwell of Haubstadt; his children, Heather Schroeder (Eric) of Grayville, IL, Rodney Markwell (Kristin) of Evansville and Jeffrey Markwell (Rebecca) of Evansville; his grandchildren, Ella Schroeder, Kennedy, Klaire, Khloe Markwell, Miley and Makenzie Markwell; his sister Debi Powell (Dave) of Haubstadt; his niece Stacie Inman (Donald); and his nephew Spenser Powell.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hadi Shrine Foundation or Bethlehem UCC Memorial Fund.
