He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Emerson (Mary) of Richland, IN, Patricia Digman (Jeff) of Richland, IN, Gregory Gross of Evansville, IN and Jennifer Gross of Huntingburg, IN; his grandchildren, Aaron Chamlee, Stephanie Hardy, Dylan Gross, Brittany Jones, Taylor Sheldon, Kody Jones, Shyla Emerson and Benjamin Emerson; and his siblings, Fred Emerson, James Emerson, Tina Winkler and Donna Kemp. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
