He was predeceased by: his brother Chris Ling; and his stepbrother Brad Vickers. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Edward Ling and Brenda McKenny of Toms River, NJ; his stepmother Nelda Sue Ling of Beaver Dam, KY; and his stepsisters, Angie, Connie Hess (Tim), Mary Ellis (Joe) and Kim Tong. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
