It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvester Ray Richey of Hatfield, Indiana, born in Grandview, Indiana, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Richey and Rena Richey (Painter); and his siblings, George Richey, Bob Richey, Wayne Richey and Barbara Stonebraker.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lynn Richey (Brock); his children, Russell Richey (Lauraine), Stacy Richey (Arthur), Jason Beckort and Jessica Barnett (Kenneth); his great grandchildren, Scottie and Serenity; and his siblings, Sam Richey (Val), Frank Richey (Barb), Bill Richey (Karen), Kenny Richey (Linda), Bernadine Renehan (Jerry) and Margie Franklin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
