He was predeceased by: his parents, Nondis L. Overla (West) and Leo C. Overla; and his brothers, James, Charles, Albert "Bert" and John Overla.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Lou Overla (Hedden) of Hartford City; his children, Nondis M. Ginter (Brian) of Bluffton, William L. Overla Jr. (Angela) of Hartford City, Bobbie Jo Brenner of Hartford City, Debra L. Miller (John) of Hartford City, Jackie J. McDonald (Wallace) of Hartford City, Tammie J. Myers of Hartford City, James L. Overla (Shirlee), Cindy D. Anderson (Bob) of Hartford City and Mikki M. Harrold of Hartford City; and his sisters, Minnie Garringer of Hartford City and Nondis Josie Garringer of Redkey. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Keplinger Funeral Home (509 N High St, Hartford City, IN 47348). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
