He was predeceased by: his parent Randie J. Hawkins; and his sons, Samuel Leroy Hawkins, Christopher L. Hawkins and Aaron Hawkins. He is survived by: his mother Mary Lou Hawkins (Jones) of Hartford City; his son Anthony J. "A. J." Hawkins (Stacey) of Hartford City; his grandsons, Aaron Hawkins and Sam B. Hawkins; and his siblings, Larry J. Hawkins Sr. (Pona) of Hartford City and Connie L. Beeman-Hartman (Brett) of Martinsville, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
