He is survived by: his parents, Robert Ludwig and Florence Ludwig (Kerkhoff); his wife Ann; his great grandchildren, Bradley Ludwig, Jessica Ludwig, Austin Flynn, Tanner Flynn, Mike, Steve, Nicholas Otwinowski, Caroline Cottrill, Christopher Cottrill, Jake, Daniel, Anna, Benjamin Ludwig, Lucas, Owen, Addison, William Otwinowski and Kamdon Flynn; his siblings, Carole Hall of Murphy, Bruce of Hood River and Greg of Columbus; and also, Mike (Luanne) of Chicago, Melinda Otwinowski of Hartford City, Laurie Cottrill (Bill) of Naperville and Brian (Kathryn) of Hartford City.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Muncie, Indiana; Blackford County Community Foundation Scholarship Fund; or Purdue Musical Organization.
