He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell O. Stanley and Florence Stanley Willman (Pfeiffer); his brother Tom Stanley; and his stepbrothers, George, Don and Earl Willman.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Vickrey Stanley; his daughters, Catherine Swanson (William) and Caroline Rice (Daniel Billman); his grandchildren, Meredith Swanson Deranek (Dan), Ryan Swanson (Sherri) and Andrew Rice; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Kendall, Gavin Deranek, Kellen and Kayla Swanson.
