He was predeceased by: his sister Phyllis Dickey. He is survived by: his spouse Harriet Kile of Hartford City; his daughter Katie E. Rich; his grandchildren, Kile Rains, Evan Rains, Jake Rains, Sam Rains, Ben Rains, Matthew Rich, Andrew Rich and Lilly Ervin; his sister Darlene of Portland; and also Anderson of Portland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
