It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Ann Thornburgh-Ferguson (Hartford City, Indiana), who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert L. Schmidt and Anna L. Schmidt-Pulley (Graves); her husbands, Richard Miniear, James "Jim" E. Thornburgh and Ernest E. Ferguson; and her siblings, Larry Schmidt and Barbara Copeland.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce A. Kline (Philip) of Kokomo and Kevin M. Miniear (Rhonda) of Hartford City; her grandchildren, Christina L. Clontz (Steve), Jermeiah Kline, Jared Kline, Sarah K. Snapp, Andrew Miniear and Seth Miniear (Meranda); her great grandchildren, Caleb Clontz, Austin Clontz, Reana Miniear, Daniel Clontz and Neoma Miniear; and her sister-in-law Judi Maxson of Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
