It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Hile of Hartford City, Indiana, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Max Hile to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hile and Sarah Hile (Jester); his former wife Crystal Steinhilber Hile (Steinhilber); his wife Nyla Willmann Lee-Hile (Willmann); his siblings, Duane, Devonna Hile and Lynn Hile (Doris Hile); his brother-in-law Lowell Martindill; his grandson-in-law John Guion; and his great grandchild Jacob Willmann.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy Wolverton (Bill) of Van Wert, OH, Sally Willmann (Rick) of Hartford City and Larry Hile (Denise) of Hartford City; his grandchildren, Nicole Milek (Brian) of Canton, OH, Kimberly Fessenden (Kevin) of Clinton, PA, Reed Wolverton of Van Wert, OH, Rob Willmann (Karyn) of Fishers, Danielle Guion of Pendleton, Brad Hile (Mary) of Hartford City and Brian Hile (Deborah) of Cedar Lake, IN; his great grandchildren, Lya, Kathryn, Weston and Amelia Milek; his grandchildren, Isabella, Grant, Drew Fessenden, Abbey, Grace, Katie Willmann, Loralie, Miriam, Ashlind Hile, Ethan and Atticus Hile; his sister Faith Ann Shatto-Martindill of Ft. Wayne; and his stepdaughters, Tamara Sorrell (Sean) of Westfield, Jody Stanley (Tim) of Hartford City and Michelle Monce (Chris) of Hartford City.
